我坐在阿嬤的腿上
阿嬤拿了一張她手寫的歌詞
一字一句教我唱日本的童謠
她說那是她小時候台灣仍還在被日本統治時唱的歌
我認不得那些字 但我認得阿嬤唱歌的聲音
雪兒還在旁邊的沙發上盯著我們看
好像很困快要睡著了
白色的毛被灑進來的陽光照的一閃一閃發著光
I sit on Grandma's lap
She took a piece of her handwritten lyrics
Teach me word by word to sing a Japanese nursery rhyme
She said it was the song she sang when Taiwan was still ruled by Japan when she was a child
I don’t recognize those words, but I recognize the voice of grandma singing
Cher stared at us on the sofa beside
Seems very sleepy and about to fall asleep
The sun shines in and her white hair shines with twinkling light
