[犬繪誌] Lakeland Terrier,湖畔梗犬
Story
湖畔梗起源於18世紀的英國，是英國北部湖畔地區由貝德靈頓梗和老式英國剛毛梗交配發展而來的。 湖畔梗與威爾士梗外貌相似，但體型稍小，身軀也顯得更窄，這樣的體型便於它順利地鑽進石洞，完成獵取狐狸和獾的工作。
The Lakeland Terrier originated in England in the 18th century and was developed from the mating of the Bedlington Terrier and the old-fashioned English Wire Terrier in the lakeside area of northern England. The Lakeland Terrier is similar in appearance to the Welsh Terrier, but is slightly smaller and narrower, allowing it to burrow smoothly into caves and hunt for foxes and badgers.
