陰陽海，是一種海水在視覺上呈現兩種色澤的特殊地貌。 學者分析金瓜石地質含有大量的黃鐵礦，經年累月形成不易溶於水的三價鐵離子化合物(Fe3+)，流入海水中形成鐵離子懸浮物，才會形成陰陽海的奇觀。
The Yin Yang Sea is a special landform with two visual colors. Scholars analyzed that the Jinguashi geology contains a large amount of pyrite, and over the years, a trivalent iron compound (Fe3+) that is not easily soluble in water is formed. It flows into the seawater to form suspended iron ions, which will form the wonder of the Yinyang Sea.
