「布羅莫火山」Bromo又名婆羅摩火山，海拔高度2,329公尺，火山口的南北向直徑為800公尺，東西向直徑為600公尺，處於東爪哇島泗水東南，相距大約150公里。「布羅莫火山」位於唐格爾山的巨大火山口之內。唐格爾山大約於80萬年前形成，如今火山口直徑足足有10公里之闊。實際上，唐格火山口內還有四座火山，除了「布羅莫火山」還有巴圖克山（2,470 m），庫爾西山（2,581 m），瓦坦甘山（2,661 m）和維多達倫山（2650 m），但布羅莫火山卻是唯一活躍的火山。在火山口區域之外，還有數個火山頂，塞梅魯（3,676 m）是其中之一，同時也是爪哇島的最高山峰，也是一座活火山。
鄰近火山腳下，有一座印度教神廟，在以伊斯蘭教為主的爪哇島，顯得頗為與眾不同。這座神廟是由當地的騰格爾族印度教徒建造的，神廟曾多次因為火山噴發被毀，或許可算是世界上最危險的寺廟之一。相較於裝飾繁冗的印度教傳統寺廟，這座寺廟顯得相當簡樸。每年在這裡會舉行為期一個月的卡薩達節，活動中，當地的騰格爾族民眾在火山口前舉行火山祭，獻祭的方式是向火山口內投放牲畜、水果、糧食等。騰格爾族人認為，這樣的獻祭可以使火山沈睡。
此外「布羅莫火山」的日出也是遠近馳名，是另外一個吸引遊客之處，每天都有數千名遊客不遠千里而來，而附近Penanjakan山是一個觀賞日出的熱點，太陽的璀燦曙光以布羅莫火山為中心向四周渲染開來，把周圍的火山群營造出一個幾乎超乎想像、奇妙夢幻的氛圍，徬彿置身於宇宙星球的另一端。

Painting subject: Indonesia's end of the world - Mount Bromo

Bromo, also known as Mount Bromo, has an altitude of 2,329 meters. The crater has a north-south diameter of 800 meters and an east-west diameter of 600 meters. It is located in the southeast of Surabaya, East Java Island, about 150 kilometers apart. Mount Bromo is located within the huge crater of Mount Tanger. Tanger Mountain was formed about 800,000 years ago, and today the diameter of the crater is 10 kilometers wide. In fact, there are four volcanoes inside the Tanger Crater, besides the "Bromo" there are Mount Batuk (2,470 m), Mount Kursi (2,581 m), Mount Watangan (2,661 m) and Vito Mount Darren (2650 m), but Mount Bromo is the only active volcano. Outside the caldera area, there are several volcanic summits, one of which is Semeru (3,676 m), the highest mountain in Java, and an active volcano.
Near the foot of the volcano, there is a Hindu temple, which is quite different in Java, which is dominated by Islam. Built by local Tengger Hindus, the temple has been destroyed many times by volcanic eruptions and is perhaps one of the most dangerous temples in the world. Compared to the overly decorated Hindu traditional temples, this temple is quite austere. A month-long Kasada Festival is held here every year. During the event, the local Tengger people hold volcanic sacrifices in front of the crater. The way of offering sacrifices is to put livestock, fruits, grains, etc. into the crater. The Tengger people believe that such sacrifices can put the volcano to sleep.
In addition, the sunrise of "Mt. Bromo" is also well-known. It is another attraction for tourists. Thousands of tourists come from thousands of miles every day. The nearby Mount Penanjakan is a hot spot to watch the sunrise. Can Shuguang is centered on Mount Bromo and spreads out to the surroundings, creating an almost unimaginable, fantastic and dreamy atmosphere around the surrounding volcanoes. The Buddha is on the other side of the universe.

"Volcano Bromo" is like a black daisy blooming on a blue planet. The edges are full of folds, but the center is the heat of lava flowing; it is a deserted place, mysterious, beautiful, and dark without knowing it.
