日本神社入口都會建有「鳥居」，這種建築形式，指的是將神的世界與人的世界分隔的結界，也就是從此進入神領域的「大門」。鳥居有著一定的形式，最上方橫條的稱為「笠木」，緊接下方為「島木」，而第二排的橫條則稱為「貫」，左右兩根柱子，中間通常有一個被稱為「額束」的地方放置匾額，上題神社的名稱。

「糸島櫻井神社白色鳥居」位於福岡糸島市，是一座西元1632年建立的櫻井神社，隠藏于山林之間，以戀愛結緣出名，香客可以遙拜位在系島二見浦海灘的「夫婦岩」，祈求夫妻感情和睦，或是出現好姻緣。
