Story
順向失憶症的患者會忘記發病後所發生的事物；如果同時存在順向失憶症和逆向失憶症，則被稱為全腦失憶症。失憶症狀通常會使人無法想起發生的事實，但是對於肌肉的記憶還是存在，例如運動的技巧。如果成因是來自於藥物造成的損傷，這樣子的病症是有可能在短期內康復的。
People suffering from anterograde amnesia forget what happened after the onset; if both anterograde and retrograde amnesia are present, the condition is known as global amnesia. Amnesia symptoms frequently make it impossible to recall what occurred, but there is still memory for muscles, such as motor skills. If the cause is drug-induced damage, such a condition can be recovered from in a short period of time.
