三島神社始建於神龜元年（724年），是一隻背著金光閃閃的烏龜游到海灘上跑到森林裡，所以在此建造並供奉神社。三島神社位於二見町的一座小山上，俯瞰伊予灘，297級石階中間的雙門裝飾著優美的雕塑，是市指定的有形文化財產。
