麥加皇家鐘塔是前10名中最具特色的建築，也是入圍榜單的中東建築中的第一座。這座建築物建在麥加繁忙的中心，緊鄰大清真寺，為虔誠的穆斯林提供了朝聖之旅的地方。正如其名，四個巨大的鐘面被安裝在塔的頂部附近，這些鐘同時也保持著世界上最大和最高的紀錄。
